Dr. Clayton Falknor, MD is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of the eye. Originally from Houston, Texas, he worked as a chemical engineer for semiconductor producer Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. in Austin before entering the medical profession in 2001. He has been with Eye Associates of Colorado Springs since 2014. Dr. Falknor believes in providing advanced and compassionate medical care in an educational and collaborative manner to all of his patients.
In addition to providing the most up-to-date comprehensive eye care, Dr. Falknor performs traditional and laser cataract surgery utilizing the CATALYS® Precision Laser System, and implants monofocal, toric, and multifocal intraocular lens implants. In addition, he specializes in the treatment and surgery of corneal diseases including corneal transplantation and pterygium surgery.
Dr. Falknor is married with three sons and a Golden Retriever. He is a member of the major national ophthalmology societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the Cornea Society, in addition to the El Paso County Medical Society and Colorado Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. He is accepting new patients daily.
