Eye Associates' Contributions to the Community

Eye Associates of Colorado Springs knows how important it is to be involved in our local community. We strive to do our best not just in our professional lives, but through personal ones as well. We want people to know Eye Associates is a place where you can feel at home and be a part of a community that matters.

Our own Dr. James Barad, MD, realized early in his career that the need for charitable ophthalmic care was greater than local service organizations could provide. As a result, Dr. Barad envisioned EverythingForSight.org, a non-profit eye care organization in Colorado Springs.

EverythingForSight.org partnered with out team at Pinnacle Eye Center in 2013. Currently, the majority of EverythingForSight-sponsored medical and surgical care is performed in that facility. Qualified individuals, both medical and administrative, volunteer their time and expertise to assist our providers.

Anyone in need of eye care is a potential recipient of the services we provide. We believe that no person should be denied care due to an inability to pay for treatment and/or the expenses directly related to their treatment (i.e. transportation, housing, medications, etc.).

MADRE's Helping Hands

With these resources women can strengthen their families and communities. Eye Associates has donated contact lenses to the helping hands program to help women that may not have been able to buy contact lenses otherwise. We hope other people and businesses alike will follow suite and donate to these wonderful women. If you are interested in donating, you can visit madre.org for more information.
