Dr. Tucker Dangremond is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of general ophthalmologic conditions. He is also skilled in numerous ocular surgeries, including cataract, minimally invasive glaucoma, and eyelid oculoplastic surgeries.
A native of Colorado Springs, Dr. Dangremond attended Air Academy High School before moving to Iowa to pursue his undergraduate studies at Coe College. He graduated with a double major in Biology and Public Relations while competing on the Men’s Swimming and Diving Team. He continued his education at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, where he earned his MD and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, recognizing his outstanding academic and clinical performance. After spending eight years in the Midwest, Dr. Dangremond moved to West Texas, where he completed his internship and ophthalmology residency training at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX.
Dr. Dangremond is married to his high school sweetheart, Andrea. They are proud parents to their daughters, Peyton and Wrenley, as well as
their two rescue dogs. Outside of work, Dr. Dangremond enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping with his family. He is also a dedicated birder, often photographing and observing birds across the United States and the world.
Dr. Dangremond’s roots in the ophthalmology community of Colorado Springs run deep, having previously worked at Pinnacle Surgery Center during his summers in undergrad. He is thrilled to be practicing where it all began, providing high-quality eye care to the people of Colorado Springs.
